Hi all,

I know, I know, Skyrim is old now but I did manage to get a copy of the Legendary Edition a couple of months back and at $20 it was a great buy. Many of you have already played and probably completed it but this is one of those games I won’t get bored of playing, I love it.

Unfortunately I haven’t had much chance to play it lately but it’s one of those games i’ll keep hold of, great story, fantastic game play and a ton of stuff to do makes this one of the best games I own.

Talking of keeping hold of certain games, I have around five or six that I would probably never get rid of, games like Skyrim, Borderlands 1 and 2, Godfather 2, Bioshock (all of them) and Dishonored. I would love to add Thief 4 to that little collection.

What games are you keeping hold of and why, which games will you always go back to when your bored? Let me know ok, next time I will be talking about some new releases due out over the next couple of months.

Hi all,

I do apologize for being away for so long but as always I am back. There have been many reasons for me not being here but mainly it’s been due to personal reasons offline. Basically I haven’t played a game in months but there is plenty to talk about, there have been some amazing games released since i’ve been gone and I would like to discuss many of the upcoming releases.

I will be back on a regular basis now, not because i’m playing again but I want to keep the site going, if I can’t get time to play I want to be able to at least talk about gaming and hearing some of your feedback as to what your playing.

My last post was in the draft section and hadn’t been posted so I have posted that, it is the one about Thief 4, which actually turned out to be an awesome game. Sadly I haven’t got to play it yet but I have seen much game play as well as the trailer. I did manage to watch an hour of game play of Thief and really I want to play this game so badly, hopefully I will get the chance very soon.

Ok that’s all for this one, let me know what your up to, what games your playing, are they great or just passing time until the next big release, give me some info guys, lol. Take care.

Shopping In Stoke On Trent For Macbook Air.

If you live in Stoke On Trent, and you are looking to shop for a Macbook Air laptop, finding the right store will not be a problem because there is an Apple store just within the area. That means shopping in Stoke On Trent for Apple gadgets will never have to be a problem.
When talking about the latest gadgets of today, everyone will surely agree that apples products are one of the best. Aside from the fact that the brands name alone speaks about prestige and high class, you can never deny the fact that the apple exemplifies only the highest quality of gadgets when it comes to the functionality, security, and unique features. A list of stores can be found on shopping monkey.

Some of the latest and popular gadgets of Apple will include iPhone, iPod, iPad and the series of amazing laptops.

Speaking about Mac laptops, one of the most popular among the many models they have is the Mac Book Air. Not so many are familiar with what a Mac Book Air, and if it is really worth buying considering the price. If you are one of those people who are quite skeptical about the functions and salient features of this laptop, below are some of the pros and cons that you may want to look into, in order to make a better decision before buying.

Pros when buying a Mac Book Air

Intel makes the processor of a Mac Book Air. It is powered by a core 2 duo 1.6 Ghz processor, which is what you just need in order to work on your computer without the risk of overheating even if you come close to battery empty. The physical body of the Mac Book Air is also compact and very sleek in design because its lightweight and easy to carry. It comes with an LED screen that is 13 inches in size. The design of the Mac Book Air is perfect to those who are always on go, since handling is a breeze. You also do not have to worry about the speed of the Mac Book Air, since it connects easily to wifi and transfer as much as 4 mbps in a swift. Furthermore, you will still have Apples OS leopard in your Mac Book Air, just like with other models for laptop that Apple has.

Cons when buying a Mac Boor Air

Mac Book Air might not be for everybody. If you are the type of laptop user who needs a lot of ports, then this laptop is not for you. It is only equipped with three types of ports (USB, Micro DVI and for a headphone). Another thing that you may want to consider when using this laptop is the battery life. It can only run for a maximum of 3 hours with minimal usage. Batteries are also not replaceable, so you will have to make sure of bringing your charger in case you need to work beyond 3 hours.

These are the different information you may want to consider before buying a Mac Book Air. Knowing this will let you decide if this laptop is the one that you need and one that will work for you.
By the way, if you are planning to go shopping in Stoke On Trent for Apple gadgets, the Apple store in the area is not the only place to go to. You can also check out the different shopping centers around, offering gadgets and computers authorized by Apple.

Hi all,

Started playing Borderlands 2, thanks to playstation+, as it’s a free download, yes the full game, and it’s way better than the first one. More quests, better storyline, more weapons, more enemies and even bigger, very cool.  While i’m playing this one, if anyone wants to join me in storyline or sidequests, feel free to contact me. Also if any of you need help on any quests then again feel free to invite me to your session, my online ID is RPG_Reviewer, i’m level 22 and playing as the assassin.

I believe i’m about half way through the story but as it gets more difficult then I go back to clear up all the past sidequests, then continue. I’m also trying to get the platinum trophy for this one so am trying to complete everything if that’s any help to any of you who want to join me.  That’s about it for now, see you on the battlefield, lol.

Hi all,

I’ve recently been playing games that are free with the playstation plus membership, as you recall from my previous post one such game is the great Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen but my latest game is a racing game which is very good fun, Grid 2. I’ve got around 50% of the trophies for it and they are pretty easy ones, there is also some racing online which i’ve been playing, again very good fun, especially the demolition pack that you also get free.  All in all this last 3 months of PS+ has been more than worth it and on top of that they have just given us Borderlands 2, another great game.

If anyone has Grid 2 and is currently playing it or in need of some help I will have it for another 3 or 4 days so feel free to join me or send a friend request and i’ll accept you and help you out.

Hi all,

Yet again it’s been awhile since my last post, been busy doing lots of stuff but I have managed to still get some game time in. My latest game is Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen. This game is quite huge and it has a little of skyrim, assassins creed type games, yet it’s got it’s own uniqueness about it.  Very open world, the story can be completed fairly quickly if that is all you do but if you decide, like me, to explore and do virtually every quest you will be on it quite a while.

The story isn’t anything too special but there are a great many attributes that make this game very addictive. You have the main quest,  sub quests or notice board quests, then you have side quests which are not from the notice boards but from individuals in the many different towns.  You have many vocations you can choose from, well actually three main vocations with a sort of sub vocation. An example is, if you choose to be a Strider , like me, you can then choose to be an Assassin, or if you choose Mage, you can then become a Mage Archer etc..very good fun. There are also a multitude of weapon types and variations which can be upgraded dramatically.

I’ve played through the storyline about 6 times, mainly to get everything I didn’t get on past playthrough’s  and also to get my levels up high enough to enter the depths of Bitterblack Isle, which is just a crazy place with unique monsters and unique weapons and armor. The creators mentioned you may not want to attempt BitterBlack Isle until you are at least level 50. Personally, I would recommend strongly that you are closer to level 100.  I go down there now to get some upgrades and still find it a challenge to go all the way to the bottom levels and i’m at level 130, I don’t know what the cap is but i’m guessing it’s around 200.

This game is free if your a playstation plus member and is definitely worth it if your a fan of games like Elder Scrolls. Happy gaming.

Hi all,

I managed to get 60% of the trophies before having to start over as I managed to glitch the whole game somehow, could be because it was a download, I don’t know.  Anyway I was in the middle of a quest when the game froze, when I came back I couldn’t fast travel anywhere.  Long story short I decided to start over on hard mode as that is a trophy too.  Shame that I had 167 Lorestones out of the 170 needed but i’ll get them again.

I’m actually enjoying playing through a second time, it’s like watching a really good movie second time around, you get to notice all the stuff you missed the first time.  I’m finding that i’m doing all the side quests in order to get my level up high enough to defeat the main quest bosses on the hard mode, it’s a pretty good strategy.  I’m also putting points into the  mage side of things this time around to get the dispel trophy etc…

Well i’m looking forward to playing a good few days on hard mode, it’s a really enjoyable game so if your getting bored of not playing a decent RPG then give it a go, it’s pretty cheap now too.

Hi all,

I decided to get my playstation+ membership back again and much to my amazement they were giving away Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, i’ve been wanting to play this game for some time since trying the demo.  It is a huge game but it is also a huge download, massive in fact, 14 Gigs so it took a good few hours to download and install but it was most definitely worth it.

Will be going for the platinum for this game so i’ll be on it a while, it has a mixture of several other games, most noticeable is a little of Fable, Dishonored, Morrowind as well as a few others, it’s not a copy of any of these games, it’s just that while playing it, it reminds you of these games depending on what your doing at any specific time.  You’ve got a main quest with a ton of side quests.  You can have a choice of several types of play, mage, thief, scout, warrior etc…you can play it stealthily or head on or a mixture of the two, it’s entirely up to you.

You can also change your skills at different points in the game which is also cool, personally I would rather play through the whole game with each choice rather than switch half way through. You have the fast travel ability once you have visited a place once which is very handy as many side quests require you to revisit certain areas.  I’m not going to give away any spoilers but if you like either of the above mentioned games you really should give this one a go, try the demo at least although the demo doesn’t do it justice. If you try the game you will know within half an hour if it’s for you or not, very addictive.

Keep an eye on my facebook account for live trophy updates and how i’m doing.

Hi all,

Haven’t posted in a while due to i’ve been busy when not playing games, most recent game which i’m still playing is Assassins Creed II, I have platinumed this one under my old account so I decided to add it to my new account, and I love this game anyway. I’m at 70% trophies after just three days but i’ll probably end up spending a few days just trying to find all the feathers again, lol.  Played a lot of Metal Gear Solid 4 before that, haven’t got the platinum for that yet, not sure I will either as there is one really hard trophy on there. You have to complete the game on the hardest mode in under 5hrs without using any health or special items, and you cannot be detected, virtually impossible for me.

Anyway I just purchased PS+ membership again for the next three months so i’ll probably end up playing Saints Row 3rd which also looks like another good game and i’ll be checking out some of the other freebies for playstation plus members tomorrow. If anyone wants to keep track of my trophies I do get them published in real time to my facebook account. Feel free to send me a friend request or ask any questions. Also let me know what your playing at the moment and what you would like to play in the future.
